Seaver Accounting & Tax began serving clients in 2006 with a goal of providing individuals and small business owners exceptional accounting & tax service.

My name is Janice Seaver and I am the owner and sole practitioner of this accounting practice.

For the past 25 years I have strived to learn, grow and provide the best accounting services available. I spent several years working within a small business environment as a controller and then working outside the small business environment as a consultant to the small business owner. This experience has led me to understand the trials, difficulties and joy of owning and running a small business.

I have provided tax services to clients for over 20 years. These tax services include individual and business federal and multi-state income tax, quarterly and annual payroll tax and New York State sales tax

Certified Public Accountant - As a Certified Public Accountant since 1990 I have met New York State's requirements in education, experience and testing. This certification also requires me to continue my education each and every year. I receive this continuing education through tax update seminars, Quickbooks software seminars, webinars through the Internal Revenue Service, NYS Tax Department and many accounting/tax provided services. These educational resources keep me aware and up to date with tax and accounting changes happening in our nation and in our state.

Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor -Many QuickBooks customers say their experience with QuickBooks is better when they work closely with a QuickBooks expert. Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors are typically CPAs, accountants, small business advisors or consultants who have been tested and certified on QuickBooks.
